Hello, I’m Calvin Sharpe. I write as Shalvin Carpe because my own name was already taken for other websites and social media handles. I created this site to showcase my various ‘literary’  titles. It looks like I’ve created a somewhat ‘eclectic’ collection of social comment, children’s stories, and self-help, so I’ve put them all together in the hope of choosing a direction.

My occupation in the ‘real world’ is Engineering Buyer, which may not sound relevant, but the manufacturing sector is all about co-ordinating components to drive forward a single, dynamic function. I’ve found that successful books come together in a similar fashion, especially ones for children.

As of May 2026, I’m still working on the website (can you tell?) while also navigating the tribulations of today’s ‘challenging’ housing market. My dearest ambition is to meet people who have not been driven entirely insane by the demands of modern life.
